CHICAGO, December 31, 2016 — It was his dream. For years, he trained, he applied to numerous departments, tested and tested again. And yesterday, it finally happened — Chicago’s former middleweight boxer, David “The Weezel” (sic) Estrada, was officially sworn in as a police officer at the Chicago Police Headquarters at 35th and Michigan Avenue.
