PROVIDENCE, RI – The undercard of CES Boxing’s season finale Friday, Nov. 7th, 2014 at Twin River Casino features two bouts with Fight of the Night potential threatening to steal the thunder from the world championship main event.

With New York’s Chazz McDowell forced to withdraw from the event, Newark, Del., lightweight Joey Tiberi Jr. (12-2, 6 KOs) will take on the dangerous, 22-fight veteran Osnel Charles (10-11-1, 1 KO) of Atlantic City, N.J., in the six-round special attraction, Tiberi’s Twin River debut.

In the six-round welterweight co-feature, Nick DeLomba (5-0) of Cranston, R.I., will put his unbeaten record on the line against the hard-hitting Berlin Abreu (7-1, 5 KOs) of Providence, R.I.

The main event of “Winner Take All” is a 10-round championship bout for the vacant Universal Boxing Federation (UBF) female super bantamweight world title between Providence’s Shelito Vincent (12-0, 1 KO) and Jackie Trivilino (9-8-3, 1 KO) of Plattsburgh, N.Y., but the undercard promises to be equally competitive from top to bottom.

“Winner Take All” is an all-ages show. Tickets for the event are on sale now for $40, $100 and $126 (VIP) and can be purchased online at www.cesboxing.com or www.twinriver.com, at the Twin River Box Office or by phone at 401-724-2253/2254. Doors open at 6 and the first bout begins at 7 p.m. All fights and fighters are subject to change.

The 30-year-old Charles, born in Haiti, has made his living fighting competitively in New Jersey and Philadelphia, including bouts against Rod Salka, who recently battled unbeaten Philly prospect Danny Garcia; and undefeated prospects Bryant Cruz, Rolando Chinea and Mike Reed, who have a combined record of 32-0-1. Charles’ record also includes wins over former regional title challengers Anthony Flores and Victor Vasquez.

DeLomba’s opponent, Abreu, brings a long resume of knockout victories to the table in his Twin River debut. Born in Santo Domingo, the 22-year-old Abreu won five of his first seven fights by knockout and also sent his most recent opponent, unbeaten welterweight prospect Sammy Vasquez, crashing to the canvas in the second round of their scheduled six-round bout in February, still the only knockdown on Vasquez’s flawless professional record of 16 bouts.

Angel Camacho Jr. (12-0, 4 KOs), the undefeated super middleweight from Johnston, R.I., returns for the first time in more than three years in a tough test against hard-hitting veteran Tylon Burris (5-2, 3 KOs) of Hartford, Conn., another fight that could steal the thunder from the main event.

“Winner Take All” also features New Bedford, Mass., prospects Ray Oliveira Jr. and Scott Sullivan, who will be featured in separate bouts. After winning their pro debuts in September, Oliveira Jr. (1-0, 1 KO) and Sullivan (1-0, 1 KO), both protégés of former world-title challenger Ray Oliveira Sr., are back at it on November 7th. Sullivan faces unbeaten lightweight Oscar Bonilla (2-0-1) of New Haven, Conn., while Oliveira Jr. takes on 6-foot-3 super middleweight Mike Rodriguez (0-1), an accomplished amateur from Springfield, Mass., who also debuted at Twin River last year when he faced Rhode Island’s KJ Harrison-Lombardi. Warwick, R.I., super middleweight and Air Force veteran Zack Christy (1-0), who also debuted in September, returns in a four-round bout against Springfield’s Pedro Joquin (0-1). Unbeaten Worcester, Mass., middleweight prospect Khiary Gray-Pitts (2-0, 1 KO) will also be featured on the undercard in a separate four-round bout.
