Heavyweight ‘Mean’ Gene Hill Headlines ‘Battle On The Mainland’ March 13th

Heavyweight Bomber “Mean” Gene Hill 30 – 1 (20 KO’s) faces tough trial horse Kertson Manswell 24 – 10 (18 KO’s) in the Main Event of Savarese Promotions’ “Battle Of The Mainland” March 13th at the Charles Doyle Convention Center 2010 5th Ave N, Texas City, TX, 77590.

Manswell represents the “Dickinson Destroyer’s” most experienced opponent to date. Manswell has fought both WBC Heavyweight title claimant Deontay Wilder and former WBC title claimant Bermane Stiverne, as well as WBA title claimant Ruslan Chagaev.

Hope Springs Eternal and Hill is looking for a big knockout victory on the Doyle Convention Center card which takes place exactly one week before the changing of the season on the Texas Gulf Coast.

Hill has been training hard at his own boxing gymnasium, the Woodhorn as well as with trainers Aaron Navarro and Roy Cortez in preparation for this upcoming contest in which he will be looking to lay the lumber to Manswell.

Gene promises to stretch his opponent for his hometown Galveston County crowd and when asked for a prediction for the upcoming contest he replied: “Pain for this guy. Lots of it.”
