Owen ‘What the Heck’ Beck Added to Horseshow Casino Show This Friday

Former WBA title challenger Owen “What The Heck” Beck (28-3) has been added to the huge Horseshoe Casino show, this Friday, August 21st, in Hammond, IN.  Beck will meet Jameel Barnes in a scheduled 8-rounder.

Beck/Barnes is the latest addition to an already stacked-card that includes: Angel Hernandez vs. Antwun Echols (8 rounds), Emanuel Steward protégé, Andy Lee, Indiana’s fighting Cook brothers, Nick (15-1) and Jason (3-0 ), Heavyweight, MMA scrapper, Terry Martin (1-0), former Chicago Golden Gloves champion Ninos Abraham (3-0), David Thomas (7-1)  and U.S. Secret Service Agent Mike Kurzeja (2-0).

“It’s a boxing fan’s stimulus package,” quipped promoter Billy Reese, Wild Bill’s Boxing.  “Fans will get 46 rounds of boxing for as little as $30 (general admission ticket) and FREE PARKING!,” Reese added.
