This past Friday, on August 19th at Bourbon Street in south suburban Chicago, I had the pleasure of attending the 2nd annual Chicago Boxer’s Reunion. And let me tell ya, I was like a kid in a friggin’ candy store.

This reunion was not ‘fighter inclusive’. It was open to the official, the writer and most of all, the fan. It was just as well, as I did not have the lengthy career some of these stalwarts of pug-alley experienced. However, they made me feel as welcome as a unanimous decision in their favor.

The driving force behind the reunion was Vince ‘Rock’ Hudson, former amateur standout and now owner/operator of VEH Videography on the west coast. And Vince has asked nothing in return other than all guests extend a helping hand to just one youth in need.

And now, without further ado, pictures speak louder than text. And I look forward to seeing you all next year.

And a host of Chicago's finest fighters. Great seeing you guys in action once again.
