Tonight! Canada’s Super Channel Broadcasts Manfredo vs. Vanda, Remillard vs. Lora and Arash Usmanee U.S. Debut

TORONTO, CANADA, February 3, 2010 – Canada’s Super Channel will broadcast an evening of action packed professional boxing this Wednesday night, February 3rd, featuring NABF Title bouts between middleweights Peter Manfredo, Jr. and Matt Vanda and featherweights Matt Remillard and Rafael Lora, in addition to sensational Canadian prospect Arash Usmanee.
Presented by TKO Boxing Promotions and Hennessy Sports, the outstanding card took place at the Mohegan Sun Casino in front of over 6,000 fight fans.
In the main event, Peter ‘The Pride of Providence’ Manfredo Jr. battled veteran Matt ‘The Predator’ Vanda of St. Paul, Minnesota, for the NABF Middleweight Title.
The co-main event featured a rematch between featherweights Matt ‘The Sharp Shooter’ Remillard of Hartford, Connecticut, and Dominican Rafael Lora. Remillard won the first bout between the two last October, which earned him the NABF Featherweight Title.
Making his debut in the United States, former Canadian amateur standout Arash Usmanee battled Cuban veteran Jorge Ruiz in a scheduled six round bout.
