CHICAGO, IL, May 27, 2010 — Former Notre Boxing Captain and 2009 Chicago Golden Gloves Champion Mike Lee held an open workout for the local media and fans at JABB Boxing Gym in Chicago on Wednesday afternoon.

Along with trainer Ronnie Shields, Lee looked in terrific shape and very sharp as he went through an hour long, spirited training session just three days prior to his pro debut set for this Saturday night, May 29th at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago . (continue reading…)

The 27 year old Soto-Karass, 24-4-3 (16KO’s), participated in numerous outstanding battles on the long-running SOLO BOXEO boxing series. Top Rank Live Debuts in Chicago at UIC Pavilion

CHICAGO, IL, May 7, 2010 – Former Notre Dame Boxing Captain Mike Lee will make his professional debut against St. Louis native Keith Debow on Saturday, May 29th at the UIC Pavilion as part of the first TOP RANK LIVE event in Chicago.

Since January of this year, the 22 year old Lee has been training in Houston, Texas, under the watchful eye of excellent trainer Ronnie Shields who has guided numerous world champions including Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor and Vernon Forrest and has most recently trained heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek.
