On Saturday,  August 15 at the Hard Rock restaurant inside Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut, I held my 3rd official amateur boxer reunion, and the turnout was spectacular. My first two reunions were held in Las Vegas last December with the likes of Alex Ramos, Mike McCallum, Lamon Brewster and Montell Griffin showing up and this past June in New York City, with former champions Junior Jones and Iran “The Blade” Barkley in attendance.

This one at the biggest casino in the world featured an even deeper guest list as the likes of “The Fighter” Mickey Ward and his brother Dickie Ecklund, former two-time welterweight champion Marlon Starling, 1996 and 2004 U.S. Olympic super heavyweights Lawrence Clay-Bey and Jason Estrada and “Poison” Junior Jones made their way in.
