Former WBC Light Heavyweight Champion, Montell Griffin, is among those scheduled to attend the Chicago’s Boxer’s Reunion.

MERRIONETTE PARK, IL — On Friday August 19th at the Bourbon Street night club in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, the second annual Chicago Boxer’s Reunion will convene. The reunion is the brainchild of former Chicago amateur sensation Vince ‘Rock’ Hudson, who has organized the reunion in his efforts to bring together these great combatants from pug-alley who have lost touch with one another for one rocking hash session.

Not to be confused with some members only event, this reunion is open to not only the fighter, but also the announcers, the officials, the writers and of course the fan of Chicago boxing. (continue reading…)

CROWN BOXING INC. Las Vegas, NV, heads into the final week before their IBA Heavyweight Championship match between three time World Champion Oliver McCall against the current Australian Champion John Hopoate from Sydney, Australia.

The fighters are in training camps respectfully, McCall in Las Vegas, and Hopoate in California. Both contestants will arrive in Las Vegas this Sunday at The Orleans Hotel and Casino and will resume training in Las Vegas.
