CHICAGO (February 7, 2017) – Hard-hitting contender Adrian Granados hosted Chicago media at the Garfield Park District Fieldhouse Tuesday as he prepares for his main event showdown with former four-division world champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner Saturday, February 18 from the Cintas Center at Xavier University in Cincinnati and live on SHOWTIME.

CHICAGO, May 20, 2014 — Plans for a World Boxing Association (‘WBA’) “Regular” Heavyweight Title bout between Chicago’s Fres Oquendo and Ruslan Chagaev of Hamburg, Germany for Saturday, JUNE 7 in Grozny, Russia were addressed today by the Windy City’s leading boxing promoter, Bobby Hitz of Hitz Boxing.

CHICAGO — International Boxing Federation number one Light Heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara (25-2, 14 KOs) has agreed to a very dangerous test for his next ring appearance on Friday, December 6, at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.

Fighting in one of the two main bouts of the Ulrich Knockout Promotions, Warriors Boxing and 8 Count Productions event, entitled “World Championship Boxing: Wlodarczyk vs. Fragomeni 3″, Fonfara will face La Habra, California, via Colombia KO artist Samuel Miller (26-7, 23 KOs). (continue reading…)

 CHICAGO, July 31, 2013 — Yesterday morning at Chicago’s world-renowned, Magnificent Mile, an open workout was held for many of the fighters appearing on the “BIG FIGHT 2”, ESPN Friday Night Fights boxing event at U.S. Cellular Field on Friday, August 16.

 With a huge crowd of 7:00 am morning rush-hour commuters watching intently, numerous local fan favorites went through their morning training routines in a boxing ring set up on the northeast corner of Lake Street and Michigan Avenue. (continue reading…)

Adrian Granados Added to ‘Windy City Fight Night 20′ at UIC Pavilion Friday, Dec. 16th!

CHICAGO, IL — Chicago fan favorite and sensational junior welterweight prospect Adrian “EL Tigre” Granados has been added to Windy City Fight Night 20 set for Friday, December 16th at the UIC Pavilion, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions.

The 22 year old Granados, 6-1-1- (3KO’s), suffered the first loss in his professional career against Los Angeles based Frankie Gomez on August 26th at the UIC Pavilion. In a bout broadcast on Univision’s popular Friday night boxing series, SOLO BOXEO, Granados and Gomez battled evenly over eight rounds with a very close majority decision win being awarded to Gomez.
