Christoforidis was not a flashy fighter but he got the job done; At his peak, he was very good and he won the NBA Light Heavyweight Championship of the World to prove it; To date, he is the only World Champion from Greece; During his career, he also won the Middleweight Championship of Europe

Anton defeated such men as Ceferino Garcia, Melio Bettina, Jimmy Bivins, Lou Brouillard, Johnny "Bandit" Romero, Nate Bolden, Johnny Colan, Gustav Eder, Bep Van Klaveren and George Burnette
