Yuh was a very capable fighter who compiled a career record of 50-3-2 with 29 knockouts; During his career, he won the WBA Light Middleweight Championship of the World, the OPBF Middleweight Championship and the Middleweight Championship of Korea

Jae-Do defeated such men as Koichi Wajima, Hideo Kanazawa, Cassius Naito, Keun Taek Lee, Jae-Keum Lim, Yuichiro Watanabe, Masahiro Misako, Michihiro Horihata, Hiromichi Hiraide and Turtle Okabe
