McCall's purse was held up "pending an investigation." How much, if any, did he ever get?

I have no clue how much he was paid, but the commission did release his purse. This was the second-most bizarre fight I ever witnessed (behind only "Fan Man" ranking ahead of Tyson's bite on my personal list). McCall literally had a nervous breakdown in the ring. It was queasy to watch.

He acted that way before the first fight too. Only difference was that he really started breaking down in the ring when Lennox nailed him with those big rights and was in complete control. Then the act came out.

" . . . those big rights . . . ." seemed to have no effect on McCall, if memory serves. Even with his hands down and tears filling his eyes, Oliver took everything Lennox could muster up (a very, very tentative Lennox, at that). With a granite chin and more than enough power to shatter the Lewis beard of fine crystal, I still believe that a focused and well-trained Oliver McCall stops the best Lennox Lewis nine times out of ten. Thanks for the info. And speaking of "Fan Man," somehow I missed this item (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_Man) in the news.
