What do think of Billy ( Mr B. ) Eckstine and Bobby ( Blue ) Bland.
an Have you ever heard Arthur Prysock sing, he is one of my favorite's

Frank- I have some Bobby Bland cds. He put out
some great music on Duke Records.

Bland made some great records in his day. Unfortunately, I saw him with BB King a few years ago, and his voice was really shot. It's a shame.

Sorry to take so long to reply but I haven't been to this forum for a while. Yes Mr B. I'm familiar with all those singers & have recordings by all of them.

In fact, Bobby Blue Bland played a festival I booked two years ago.

One more great R & B artist from Duke records.
My wife and i were on our honey moon when he killed
himself on Dec. 25 1954, we were listening to the radio when
we heard the news, it was a sad day for R & B
