I go with Lyle on points, He was a better boxer than Snipes, better jab and was also strong and tough enough to outslug Snipes if required to do so.

Snipes was strong, tough and awkward but so was Bonavena and Lyle beat him.

Snipes best chance would be to bring the judges that were ringside for his fight against Gerrie Coetzee.

I will go with Lyle by ko inside of 5 rounds. Lyle ko'd Shavers, nearly ko'd Foreman in a knockout loss, while Snipes is best known for his gift win vs. Gerrie Coetzee and miracle Shavers-like knockdown of Larry Holmes in a 11th round tko loss. It wouldn't surprise of Lyle knocked him out even earlier.
