    Is Roy 'Tiger' Williams found?

Going through this website I've found what I believe is a recent picture of Roy 'Tiger' Williams. That surprised me because he seemed to be ‘missing’. There were people in the boxingworld curious were he was or what he was doing. And no one knew. Now there is that picture. So he must have come out of the obscurity. Goggled a bit but didn’t find it. Who knows something more?

Roy Williams is doing well and has shown up at the "Briscoe Awards" at the VBA #1 in Philadelphia the last few years, even performing as a singer at the function.

That's good news, I suppose. Do you have any information about what he has been doing after he'd quit boxing?

I think someone should suggest to Roy"Tiger"Williams to write his autobiography.
He fought during the golden age of boxing and at one time had been a ligitiment
contender with the potenial lottery ticket(a big punch).
Or should only the"Champions" write and publish their memoirs?

These days I'm more interested in the biography of 0-30 fighter then of a
    30-0 fighter…

Well like they say,a person can learn a lot more from their or other peoples failures then anything else.
And it certainly would give a more in-depth history of the era of the Golden Age of boxing,
as far as the dark recesses.

I don't think Roy has ever been lost as far as the boxing scene in Philly, I spoke to Shavers years ago who said he would run into Roy at the boxing functions.

Unfortunately only legions of people in cyberspace seem to be obsessed with Roy and Jeff Merritt, boxing writers never seek them out for an interview.

A hundred years ago food was the problem. And now finding out what someone does, who we do not even know, is. This thought makes me very pessimistic. Mankind will never gets rid of problems.

Theo, you write some of the most bizarre things I have ever come across on a boxing forum.

Anyone know of an in-depth articles concerning the boxing career of
    Roy Tiger William's?
There doesn't seem to be much on the inter-net concerning his career.

The most I've ever seen is in the Larry Holmes book. Holmes writes plenty of anecdotes on him. I think his book actually initiated the modern fascination with Merritt and Williams.

Here is another somewhat of an anecdote when Roy Williams was at Holmesburg Prision in the 1960's.
