I do not think British fans will remember Haye fondly. After all his evil talk & then running all night & then blaming his little toe..... it's hardly Henry Cooper or Frank Bruno, who fought all guns blazing and went out whilst giving their all.
Haye is a bit of a joke now.
Well then Haye has about 2 years to rectify things. With his balance, once those reflexes deteriorate with age, he'll be in real trouble against anyone. He's 30 now and coming off a horrible performance. Some excellent matchmaking is the big factor now and he needs a slow easy to hit guy that will play into his strengths. Pretty much guys like he had been facing. The last guy to fight is a southpaw like Chagaev. But Haye is going to suffer deterioration of reflexes just like everyone else and he has no plan B to compensate for it & will look very ordinary once that time hits.
I'm looking forward to Haye vs Harrison 2.
