    Al "Blue" Lewis

    Al was good heavyweight of the seventies. According to Dundee, Quarry avoided him and Dundee would not allow Jimmy (Ellis) near him. Leotis Martin beat him twice, I believe, and Ali stopped him in 11. There are various accounts of the circumstances of his disqualification against Bonavena in Argentina.

    I've read his two fights with Leotis Martin were brutal, anyone here ever see them?

    The Ali fight should have been a KO5. Lewis was down for something like 15 seconds!
