Mike defeated such men as John Tate, Gerrie Coetzee, Carl "Truth" Williams, Phillip Brown, James "Quick" Tillis, Bernardo Mercado, Stan Ward, Scott LeDoux, Bert Cooper and Johnny du Plooy

Mike was a helluva fighter, but maybe he was lucky to part with the WBA belt like he did.I could see Page, Witherspoon, Snipes, and possibly Cobb beating him in the right scenarios back then.
