Have you ever seen Chisora fight? The guy has a rock solid chin, he's never been hurt and he's been whacked square on the jaw by Helenius who everyone round here rated as a good puncher if nothing else.
Vitali is hardly a puncher, christ he couldn't down an obese 40 year old Shannon Briggs. I could see it going 12.
And he took 9 or 10 rds to stop a MW in his last fight.
With all due respect to two gentlemen who have probably forgotten more than I know about boxing, I stand behind my statement, and predict that Vitaly will win by mid- to late-round tko.
I'm enjoying the sarcasm but I'm pretty sure you have dismissed Chisora having never seen him fight. The guy has never been hurt in a fight. Say what you want in hindsight about Robert Helenius but he would have KOd Shannon Briggs violently, but he never put a dent in Derek Chisora.
To predict a mid-round KO for Klitschko, who hasn't had a mid-round KO in forever, over a man as durable and fearless as Chisora is absurd.
OK, I'm almost ready to concede--I should have done a little research. My revised prediction will be a boring UD for Vitaly. What goes well with crow? The expertise on this board, and the fact that no one belittles me for my sometimes ridiculous statements, is what keeps me coming back.
Who cares, Butterbean is back this weekend, time for some real Heavyweight action!!!!
Chisora gave Vitaly a nice love tap. I dont think it was planned as Vitaly looks totally stunned.

I dont like trying to guess what someone is feeling or thinking. But. It looked to me like what a nervous/frightened person would do.
Vitali took it like a bitch,
WKS
you know I can never get away from the old saying First PRIDE then the Fall...
well I know that this is the way of the arrogant modern west, a youth culture around 25 - 30 years old now of just sheer vain arrogance... I appreciate it can be found anywhere.
But I'm telling you as both a resident and foreignor (in that I spent much of my life away), of Britain, that the Proud, Vain, Arrogance of people are NO WHERE like the present Britain - and anybody that has spent anytime here from somewhere else can attest too.
But I hope Chisora gets _ucken annihilated and hurt because of this cheek thats got to stop in LIFE nevermind in a suffering sport like boxing that can't hold a fan base for such reasons among other nonsense!
Ohh and by-the-way, I.m not a Klit fan.
What a low life Chisora is. And I hope the authorities throw the book at him. Doubt it though.
Chisora doesn't impress me. Ponderous in the ring with sub par conditioning.
Expect this to be just another klitschko fight.
Chisora looked scared when Vitali started advancing after the slap
Haha. Believe me, nothing personal but I know you're a shit stirrer. Good colour for the board though.
Keeping it REAL however, Chisora threw it like a bitch. Vitali took it like a man.
The speed with which Chisora backed out after the slap rivalled the absolute peak mobility of Muhammad Ali. An absolute blur.
It wasn't just a case of feigning the old "Hold me back me fellas!" routine. There was no one to hold Chisora back so he got himself the fukc out of there.
That will be the best shot Chisora gets all day on Saturday. What a joke.
Where can we see this fight on what channel tomorrow at 4:30PM in the USA.
I thought the slap was deplorable, he should have had his face smashed in, outrageous punk disgraceful move. No excuse will do.
On epix channel.
Now the question becomes what Chisora will do once Vitali takes him out to the woodshed. The recent Vitali style is to take guys there early in the first round and keep them there. I wonder if vitali will set down on his right hand more and counter that left hook?
Vitali will take him apart round by round. Is the fight on T.V.?
First off it was a punk move ... in addition, against the wrong guy ... Unlike his brother Vitali is a very hard guy ... unless he gets old overnight this will be a clinical disection ...
Chisora has always come across as a giant a******e, he has a history of this crap in and out of the ring (including hitting women).
Alway giving it the "Gangsta, Rude Boy" routine in interviews etc, your 28 years old for fecks sake, grow up!!
I hope Vitali KO's him.
P.S. A DQ win for Vitali would not shock me otherwise I agree with HE Grants post above.
Big brother is an arm puncher, he cannot punch his weight and he is pretty stiff, rigid and one dimensional. All that said, he has been very effective against this field of fatties. But finally at 40 he is up against a man in his 20s who is fearless and in good shape (first time Vitali has faced an opponent of this description since Chris Byrd in 2000!) and with a seemingly very solid chin.
I think Chisora will outwork the old man the same way he outworked the equally big, heavier handed (but otherwise inferior) Robert Helenius and tire him out.
Does anyone know if TWC carries this epix channel, I want to see this fight and cannot find out where it is on TV.
Someone posted this link on another website

Hey Ron and everyone else that wants to see this, the Epix link requires the user to sign up for a trial and all that, here is a link to the fight for free:

This site is great, you can watch everything PPV all sports all cards around the world.
Undercard is on right now, a couple of fat guys winging away in the 9th round.
Chisora is getting his ass kick for the first 3 rounds. He is working Vitali hard. So he may wear down.
Chisora spat a mouthful of water into Wlad's face before the fight started. Filthy animal.
The scores are being read out after 4 rds? New WBC rules?
I've never seen Vitali have to work so hard.
