He's going to get himself killed. It's going to be so depressing to see a man like Razor, who had such brawn and brute strength virtually nobody could stand up to him, getting knocked about by a clubfighter in a 4 rounder ala Jerry Quarry's grim finale. Christ almighty Razor, just move on with your life.
I don't see this 'comeback' lasting very long. Some D grade journeyman is going to remind him how tough boxing is and hopefully then he'll slide back into retirement.
Ruddock's Bravado Crosses Generations
I hope he retains the ability to think and speak once this ludicrous comeback is over. I have both of Ruddock's 2001 comeback fights on tape, and whilst he was still very heavy handed (put Egerton Marcus in the emergency room if I remember correctly) the effort of throwing a few punches left him winded for long spells. He needed a SD to overcome Harold Sconiers who turned out to be a pretty fragile target in subsequent bouts.
Ruddock was one of a slew of big characters in the 90s heavyweight boxing scene that transfixed me completely as a kid, but those days are gone now. Sadly.
Razor should get BACK on the couch where he belongs.
As pathetic as the heavies are these days, it's no place for an old, shot fighter.
