    thanks for posting the DeJohn pic, Frank. The DeJohn boys are remembered very well by my mom who grew up on the West End of Syracuse, NY where the greasers (Fonzie's ancestors) and mugs dwelled.


    The less remembered Nick Barone.

    Helluva question. Mike would be 75 today.... the Post Standard of Syracuse prints so little about boxing and the fighters from Central NY that I hadn't read anything about him or Joey or Carmen or Ralph in that paper for at least 10 years.

    Last time I tried to check up on a fighter from the Cuse, he died. (Barone),
