    National Anthem singer

    I am looking for the National Anthem singer for the first Ali vs. Frazier fight aka the fight of the century. If you know this answer you are the man.

    I'm not 100% sure but I think it was James Brown.

    No, no it was not James Brown. He sang for the second or third fight but he did not sing in fight 1. Anyone else.

    I talked to my partner in this CBZ lash-up about your question. We both have the fight but neither wanted to dig for it. The conclusion we both came to was that there was no singer - everybody was aked to stand up - & the music was played through the P.A..

    Now I could be totally wrong about this (Gee, that would be a big surprise!) but that is the best guess I can venture at the moment.
