When a fighter goes into a fight with the expectations of everyone that he will crush his foe (IE Tubbs) and he doesn't, Everything that that fighter does, in releative dissappointng fashion, is to a degree exagerrated.

The bout turned out close and Bowe did not impress, so becuase of that, the dings are probably unfairly so, a bit larger than they actually were.

It's not the first or the last time this has happened with a fighter. But the thing is, when it DOES happen to one fighter agian and again, his percieved worth is FAIRLY open to criticism.

I think Bowe career body of work falls into this.

It Looks like its here, but I canst sees it.

Essentially, I was comemnting to Sharks about how not living up to expectations in certain fights can lead to an overreaction as I beleive was the case in the Bowe Tubbs bout.

I also made a comment that while it may not be fair to be overly ciritcal in one off situations, if a fighter repeatedly does this, I feel he is open to ciriticism.

For a career, I think this applies to Bowe.
