I think it's really quite simple...Kellerman speaks of greatness...well, hot 'great' would it look ten years from now if Kessler has a stellar career and history looks back and sees that Cal somehow, someway, didn't fight a two-belt fellow titlist in his class not once but twice (and this one is more willing...much more,,,than Ottke).

Kess-Call might be getting more likely...from Bernard Fernandez in the Philadelphia Daily News:

Hopkins, however, reiterated he'll come back only for a shot at WBC heavyweight king Maskaev (33-5, 26 KOs).
"I'm not interested in winning a super middleweight championship," Hopkins told me. "Calzaghe's a good fighter, but I can't bring a Calzaghe fight to Jeannette [Hopkins' wife]. I was surprised she went along with the heavyweight thing, but she saw Maskaev fight three times on TV, against [David] Tua and twice against [Hasim] Rahman. She said, 'If you get hit, you're done, but you can get away from him because you have the speed.' "

Bernard couldn't give a rat's ass about Zag. I don't know why anyone even bothered to bring it up to begin with.

Kessler Zag is the only fight that should happen.
As far as I know, Zag's team is aiming for Feb-March last I heard.
