He was half of Hanna-Barbera, and was responsible for The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo and all the great Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters.

Barbera recently made his "exit, stage right!" (Sorry, a Snagglepuss fan could not resist that one.)

Nope, and in addition to Yogi Bear, let us not forget Quick-Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss, Wally Gator and Touche Turtle and Dum Dum. Surely a worthy legacy.

Hannna Barbera introduced production line or limited animation; the characters were drawn over a moving continuous backdrop (or something like that as opposed to each cell being independently drawn.
