Taylor to take immediate rematch against Pavlik

espn.com is reporting that former undisputed middleweight champion, Jermain Taylor has exercised an immediate rematch clause that will trigger a fight against the man who took the title from him Kelly Pavlik.
Taylor had until October 29 to the fight and he informed his promoter Lou DiBella on Monday.
Taylor was stopped in round seven against Pavlik back on September 29 in a classic bout which Taylor almost had Pavlik stopped in the second round.
The rematch calls for the bout to be fought at above the middleweight limit at 166 pounds.
The bout could take place in January.
