Request For Lyrics From Hatton Cheer

Does anyone from here or Merry Ol England know the exact words the crowd kept chanting, singing and cheering with for Hatton????
As loud as it was, I could not discern one single word out of that hearty non ending song they would sing to the fighter.

    Thanks,

    Ron Lipton

“There’s only onnnnne Ricky Hatton, only onnnnnne Ricky Hatton, walking along, singing a song, walking in a Hatton wonderland”

Below Ron is the real words to the song

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening
    A beautiful sight,
    We're happy tonight.
    Walking in a winter wonderland.

    Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
    He sings a love song,
    As we go along,
    Walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown

    He'll say: Are you married?
    We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
    When you're in town.

    Later on, we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
    To face unafraid,
    The plans that we've made,
    Walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman,
Until the alligators knock him down.

When it snows, ain't it thrilling,
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
    Walking in a winter wonderland.

    Thanks Danny,

    Miss talking with you,

Now I understand. I think it great to sing to the fighter like that, when I refereed overseas I experienced it too, thought it was great then, it infuses power from loyalty and works.

Still can't believe that check hook took out Ricky.

    best,
    Ron

Ron, you are forgetting the RING post too...

Somehow I think that the punch was just the
final nail. Hattons' confidence and heart were broke
    at that stage.....

As for chants, I prefer the Haka chant by the NewZealand All-Blacks rugby team:

I don't know what the heck they are saying, but they are darned impressive saying it!!

    walshb,

    True, true.
I just wish Cortez did not break them so damn fast in the beginning.

I have fought bouts where the ref did more to break my spirit than the other guy. Hatton kept trying to the bloody end though.

Mayweather is very slick, great defense.

Ricky was a very frustrated man when caught with that left hook

Not that it would have made any difference to the eventual outcome, it was noticable that Hatton was in the act of Throwing a Punch when actually Nailed, Ala Holyfield when starting to lauch an uppercut and getting nailed by cooper, when you are in the act of throwing a punch you are not actually braced to take one, the effect can be dramatic !

I am Sure Ricky will look a lot more like his old self, back at Jr welter,
