Hi Mike; just a quick addition.

The Stan Lee/Jack Kirby stuff late 50's/early 60's. "Strange Tales", "Journey into Mystery", etc. (pre-Fantastic Four/Hulk/Thor, etc...who's original appearances were in these comics). All the cool Kirby creatures: Fin Fang Foom, Grogg, Spoor, etc...and Lee's storylines, often with an "Us against the 'Reds'" cold war propaganda spin. I've gotten 10-15 of the old comics in the last few years. Great nostalgic stuff, I remember purchasing many of them at the corner pharmacy as a kid back when my beloved Patterson wore the HW crown.

Yeah -- the Lee-Kirby and Lee-Ditko stories should be included. I will have to sift through a few hundered and pick out the good ones.

For sure I will include "Worm Man" by Lee-Ditko from Strange Tales.

And Fin Fang Foom just for the name!

Hey everyone,I'm new to the site..I've done some posting but haven't offically said whats up to you all..I really like the site so far and this topic is one that definitely sparks my interest..

I really like a lot of Marvel comics when I read..I haven't read one in a couple months because of school and boxing but I plan to get back into it..I really like Thor,Hulk,X-Men, stuff like that..The new stuff on X-Men really sucks but I'm mostly into the older comics..Last series I read was Planet Hulk which was amazing..The new Green Lantern stuff was pretty cool but I didn't keep up with it..
