Oh, man. I don't think that Mr. Areola can walk through all of the punches he'd have to walk through to reach Wlad.
If this is signed, I predict a mid-rounds KO for Wlad.
Arreola will have to get past the long jab of the Eurobot to get inside and work, and will try, unlike Vlad's last few opponents, but will face first, and
Emanuelle Stewart will have him ready for this.
I like Arreola and how he makes for exciting fights, has heart and guts and wants to win, but when he gets pulverized will this have been the most brilliant matchimaking by his manager? Why not get him in shape first a few more opponents, then go for the lottery match?
Vlad KO rd 5
Sorry VKS no early, early X-mas present
We can only hope I'm wrong.
The most boring thing I can think of are news reports that state "x might fight y"
Well now instead of x maybe fighting y, it has been reported that due to fighter z having issues with mandatories, maybe fighter x will instead maybe fight fighter w,
no really, Arrealo might not get the shot now, because Vitali has to fight mandatory Gomez, Wlad might fight Haye in place of Arreola,
Haye could get Kayo'd, but if he can land one or two flush shots without getting caught himself, it's over for Wlad
I think Areola is not ready for Wlad
he needs 2-3 more fights
Id like to see Areola fight someone like Rahman, McCline or even James Toney first
Sam Peter would be good also
Areola needs to forget about Wlad for now and just stay busy. He needs 4 or 5 more fights in 2009 to be ready by 2010.
Early KO for Wlad.
Even though I hate the Klit brothers, I couldn't said it any better myself. I want to see a real hungry fighter in tip top shape test Wlad's chin, heart, and stamina. I initially was one of those guys hoping that he'd fight Wlad, but based of his last fight, he clearly is not ready nor is he in the best possible physical condition yet. Areola is like this generation's Joe Hipp.Originally Posted by mrbig1

Wlad vs Haye could be interesting. Two guys who put out way more than they can take. Can't see that one going 5 rounds, let alone 12.
Hopefully David can slip a shot in there so I don't have to see the little bro Klit on my TV ever again.
He's the most boring KO artist of all time. It's hard to care about a KO when you just watched him play keep away with a mouse for 8 frightened rounds.
Areola looks like nothing to me ... the fight would be a joke.
1979: Hard-hitting Californian of Hispanic background starts making noise in the heavyweight division. Though raw, his "throw-back" style gives many the impression that he will be a force in the HW's for years to come.
2009: Ditto.
Conclusion: Check back in another 30 years to see if anyone remembers either gentleman as being a force among the big boys.
