Yes gentlemen... It is on tonight. I will watch for the freak show factor and I apologise in advance.
I do like Choi a lot though ane feel that he can makke some waves if he is managed better. He seemed to lose a lot since his operation though.

A bit more interested in Kawajiri-Cavalcante, but yeah, I'll be watching too. Can't believe it will be good for Canseco.
What is wrong with Canseco? He must really need the money.
I think you nailed it first try.![]()

He did better than I thought.
Yeah I was surprised too. He landed a few good shots, but every time he threw a punch or came close he turned and ran away.
I think Choi, with his toughness power and wrestling skills could have been something else had he not had to have that tumor removed. He really is a different fighter now. He seems more timid and frail.
If Canseco hadn't hurt his knee, he might have lasted, what, five minutes?
Agreed, Choi looks pretty bad compared to when he fought Fedor.
How long ago was it that Crocop beat Choi?
Just a few months. They fought on New years eve I beleive. Choi goes into his MMA matches witha serious handicap. He is not allowed to throw knees
I think he was allowed knees versus Canseco--they kept talking about how Canseco should watch out for them, didn't they?
I dunno. I watched it in Korean. I know he was not allowed to use them vs Fedor or Cro Cop. I only assumed the same with Canseco.
Why no knees?
I don't know. but the rule was NOT in effect for this fight, because Choi actually throws a knee at around the 53 second mark...
There is a rule somewhere that says if there is a certain size dicrepancy between fighters, then the larger fighter can't throw knees. I am quite certain that was the fact when he fought Fedor and I remember Cro Cop complaining about a knee.
Of course that was on New Years eve and before I gave up drinking!
I guess we'll never know then, huh?Well, at 6'4", Canseco must have exceeded the height limitation....
I was thinking that as I watched the fight that Choi's knee would be right in Crocop's chin with minimal effort but that's a bullshit rule. Make a super heavy class if its that unfair.
It's not unfair. If Choi's knees were quicker, it might be, but they're not....
Did you see Mousassi fight? It wasn't much, but this guy's death to strikers and usually fights at middleweight. Love to see him and A. Silva go at it.
Crocop still has one of the deadliest kicks in the business, if not the deadliest.
Haven't seen it in action in a while, tho...been a string of losses. I'm sure you're right, but it needs to reappear.
I just watched a Crocop highlight flic on youtube the other day for the hell of it. It makes you remember real quick.
It's not that I don't remember--I do. just haven't seen it for a while. He might have made an interesting opponent for Machida...
