1 Ron Lipton You Tube Video June 2009

As to training hard using my boxing workout,
here is a short clip of me taken a few days ago.

I have two broken ribs from one of my fighter's missing two punches, so I cannot move like I want to in the shot, but being I will be 63 in August,
it ain't too bad for an old war dog.

I try to watch my diet so the guys I train with do also, and stay in the gym every day.

    best wishes,
    Ron

Just a quick note. I had to lay off training for quite awhile from one of my fighters missing the punch mitts and I cracked some ribs. My son was teasing me quite a bit that I was out of shape, so he shot this video and I was just playing around showing him the old man still had the abs. I could not do any bodybuilding training only the boxing workouts so thats what I was saying on the video. We just did it for fun as much as to say, Oh yeah, out of shape check this out.

Not meant to get anybodies panties in a twist, honest.

    best,
    R

I had a good chuckle Ron. Although I was wondering if you had a few drinks in you at the time!

Ron if Hollywood decides to remake CAPE FEAR again let me be the one to suggest you for the role of Max Cady!

Christ, Deniro did not too shabby in that movie, amazing dedication once he gets started on something. The original with Mitchum was an amazing tour de force.

What I liked in the remake, was that Martin Balsam, who my father went to High School with played the judge, and was the investigator in the original.

Mitchum the heavy plays the police chief which was very cool, Gregory Peck plays the defense lawyer instead of the victim now played by Nolte.

Max Caty, thats the nicest thing I've heard said about me all day.

I am so grateful, I am welling up with emotion.

    best,
    Ron

All is well Ron. I'm just about recovered from my abductor tear, back in the TKD gym, doing lots of hiking with my boys in my free time and I just got picked up on a new ball team. I'm the only white guy in the league!

    Regards,

When I go see AC/DC next year or hear the original song on my iPod, Whole Lotta Rosie comes on, I will now be singing "Whole Lotta Ronnie".

    Thanks Doom,

You know I trained with bodybuilders a long time and when I got into boxing and Judo, a lot of what they taught me, helped me a lot.

    Muscle control.

It helped with puching techniques and some of the guys I credit for that were men who let me train with them, like Mr. World Bill Grant, Franklyn Greene, and I even met Arnold and worked out next to him in the Mid City Health Club in NYC in the 60's. Lou Ferrigno was there quite a bit too.

When I was an Investigaror in the Hudson County Prosecutor's office 1971-76I would visit Joe Weider in his Union City Warehouse and run into Arnold and all the other guys visiting Joe.

Posing abs, biceps, triceps, back, lats, always helped me in muscle control and punching. When you are in tune with the muscle groups and can move them you can be a bettter puncher.

Its part of the system of punching power I have created.

I never want to lose that link to body building and muscle control.
ACDC always gets the ball rolling. I love that band.

    best,
    Ron

When I saw your clip Ron, I immediately thought of this....

Just replace the picture of Stalin with one of Dick Tiger.

    Peace,

    Bill

Tiger deserves to be in more illustrious company on the wall of anyplace.

Deniro got pretty wiry for that role, not too shabby.

Low body fat and pretty tight. He did a good job.
