The Crap Chute: Mayorga way over the line

Nobody, not even Tyson or Duran has ever come up with shit like Mayorga did. If the New Jersey State Boxing Commission had any balls, they would hit him with a stiff fine. In no other sport, even basketball, would this kind of shit be tolerated. & the commission by ignoring this outburst only feeds into the common view that boxing & boxers are nothing but a bunch of out-of-control animals. & that,as anyone who has been around boxers, knows is not the truth.
Mayorga's actions only reinforce the view that boxing is just total chaos & an outlaw sport. I really like Mayorga as a fighter but I've lost all respect for him as a man.
Dissing someone's recently deceased mother is beyond the pale. Especially for a Latino. In their culture mother's are sacrostant. If he had said that to another Latin fighter there would have been blood on the walls - right then & there. & there would be no fight on Saturday because either Mayorga or thehypothetical Latin fighter would be dead.
I remember as a school kid in Mexico during recess we were playing soccer & one of the other teams guys got pissed at me & said "Chinga tu Madre, maricon pinche Gringo." I immediately went crazy & started kicking the shit out of him. A teacher came up & grabbed me & asked what the hell I was doing. I told him that he had cursed my mother & the teacher let go of me & started wailing onthe kid himself! He was also suspended from school.
This goes to show how seriously this kind of stuff is taken in Latin America. Mayorga knew he was crossing WAY over the line & didn't care. & this is the same man that Nicaraguan children are suppose to look up to? Like I said, love him as a fighter, as a man, I think he's a piece of shit.

Way to go, Steve! Kudos to you for calling out Mayorga for the 'hood rat piece of shit that he is. What makes his rant even more sickening is the fact that HBO has been flaunting this fuckhead as the next "big star". Granted, he's fun to watch in the ring.........but I'd wished that Forrest had beaten him in the rematch after listening to his "thug" bullshit following the first fight. On the good side, however, this only serves to make Spinks' victory that much sweeter. Congratulations, Cory! Fuck you, 'Hood Rat Mayorga!! Scott Terry (The Penguin)
