BERLIN, Germany, January 22, 2008 -- "Fast" Eddie CHAMBERS (30-0, 11KOs) was brimming with confidence when speaking of his upcoming showdown with former Russian Olympic gold medalist, Alexander POVETKIN (14-0, 11KOs). The bout, which will take place this Saturday, January 26, will be shown on HBO's series, Boxing After Dark.
“I know exactly who I’m up against and I am up for the challenge - you wait and see, I'll be "Russian" to victory come Saturday," Chambers said.
The stakes are high for Chambers because the IBF has mandated that the winner of this fight will get a shot at their heavyweight title holder, who currently is Wladimir Kllitschko.
