CBZ News Archives: July 2007 A Cure For Boxing Blahs---Knott Street Boxing Club Hosts Summer Saturday Smoker If TV bouts are making you forget why you like this sport, here’s the antidote. The famed Knott Street Amateur Boxing Club of Portland, Oregon is hosting its annual outdoor smoker on Saturday, August 11 out back of Catalina’s Mexican Restaurant, 10902 NE Sandy (NE 109th and Sandy). This cheerful family event involves clubs from Oregon and Washington, and includes both junior and senior amateur boxers. Bouts are scheduled to start at 3 p.m. General admission is $10. Kids aged 10 and under are $5.
