CHICAGO, IL, January 20, 2014 — Bobby Hitz announced that Hitz Boxing has joined forces with Banner Promotions to bring ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights” to Hammond, Indiana’s The Venue on Friday, February 28. On that evening Hitz’ wildly popular “Fight Night at the Horseshoe” will kick off its 2014 season at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available at, and The Venue box office.

“The Venue is the Midwest’s most exciting place to see a boxing match and the presence of the ‘Friday Night Fights’ cameras as well as broadcast team will add to what was already an electrifying evening,” said Hitz. “It is my pleasure to work with my dear friend Art Pellulo and his team at Banner.”

Although the complete card will be announced shortly, middleweight prospect Donatas Bondas (18-4-1, 6 KOs) of Chicago by way of Kaunas, Lithuania, exciting super middleweight Mike “Hollywood” Jimenez (11-0, 8 KOs) of Chicago, Chicago lightweight Russell “Rocky” Fiore (10-2-1, 7 KOs), super featherweight Fidel Navarette (3-0-1, 3 KOs) of Highland, IN and undefeated lightweight Jose “Chico” Arambula (6-0, 3 KOs) of Harvey, IL have already agreed to participate.
