Naim Nelson to Take on Georgi Kevlishvilli on March 16th at Valley Forge Casino Resort

VALLEY FORGE, PA, FEBRUARY 11, 2013 — On Saturday night, March 16th, Kings Boxing Promotions will stage a historic boxing event at the Valley Forge Casino Resort. In the main event, undefeated Lightweight Naim “The Dream” Nelson will  take on Georgi Kevlishvilli. Nelson, 22 years old of Philadelphia has a record of 9-0 with 1 knockout.

Nelson turned pro on June 3rd, 2011 with a unanimous decision over Kywayne Hill.  The win set off seven victories which included wins over Korey Sloane (1-0) and Esteban Rodriguez (5-1-1).  Nelson then won the Pennsylvania Lightweight championship as he had to get off the deck and fight through a bad cut to score a unanimous decision over Victor Vasquez.  In his last bout, Nelson scored eight round unanimous decision over Osnel Charles on December 28th as part of the Tomasz Adamek – Steve Cunningham II card in Bethlehem, Pa. ATLANTIC CITY, NJ, July 11, 2012 — This past Saturday night, Patrick Majewski scored a stoppage over Chris Fitzpatrick after five rounds to capture the vacant NABF Middleweight title after it was “Controversially” ruled that Fitzpatrick could not continue due to cut.

The fight was competitive throughout as Majewski was especially effective with the right hand.  Fitzpatrick suffered a nasty cut in the second round over his left eye.  Despite the large blood flow, Fitzpatrick showed no signs of discomfort and fought valiantly through the stream of blood running down his face.  The cut, which was deep, did not bleed much in round five but the fight was stopped much to the dismay of Fitzpatrick and his team after the frame.
