MASHANTUCKET, CT, September 12, 2015 — Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin (32-0-1, 22 KOs) knocked out Michael Zerafa (17-2, 9 KOs) in the fifth round on Saturday afternoon from Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC.

Quillin and Zerafa exchanged power punches throughout the affair, with the underdog Zerafa landing several big shots that stopped Quillin in his tracks. In the fifth round, a powerful right hand from Quillin connected with Zerafa and sent him tumbling to the ground as referee Arthur Mercante Jr. waved-off the fight. ATLANTIC CITY, NJ, October 27, 2013 — IBF Light Heavyweight Champion Bernard “The Alien” Hopkins (54-6-2, 32 KO’s) became the oldest fighter in history to defend a world title, breaking his own record by defeating European challenger Karo Murat (25-2-1, 15 KO’s). The 48-year-old “Executioner” turned “Alien” out-worked and out-brawled his 30-year-old challenger and won via clear unanimous decision in front of his hometown crowd at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The fight, promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Caesars Atlantic City, headlined an entertaining three-fight SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING event.

Hopkins appeared to start the night slow, but Hopkins’ combinations, speed and power grew each round. By the seventh, Hopkins and Murat exchanged wild power shots in spurts for the rest of the bout. Amidst these exchanges, Hopkins used his signature defense, angles and gamesmanship to mentally and physically deflate Murat. The judges scored the fight 117-110 and 119-108, twice for the champion. NEW YORK (April 28, 2013) – In a thrilling night of boxing before an excitable crowd of more than 13,000 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Danny “Swift” Garcia won a hard-fought unanimous decision over veteran Brooklynite Zab Judah to retain his WBA Super, WBC and Ring Magazine 140-pound titles. In the co-feature, Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin outworked Fernando Guerrero to retain his WBO Middleweight World Championship via a the seventh round technical knockout.

Garcia and Judah entered the arena with a trail of bad blood stemming from animosity throughout the event promotion. While both fighters started slow in a feeling-out process, Garcia began to gain momentum, visibly hurting Judah for the first time in the fifth. In the eighth round Garcia landed a crisp straight right hand that sent Judah to the canvas.
