Last Friday night at the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, Washington, unbeaten Middleweight prospect Dominic Wade defeated former World Middleweight title holder Sam “King” Soliman via a close ten round split decision in a match-up that had major implications for the careers of both fighters. Headlining the TGB Prmotions, Showtime televised Shobox , Wade overcame the biggest challenge of his career in the tough and cagey Soliman, narrowly claiming the win.

As the fight got underway, both fighters got off to a slow start with Wade (18-0, 12 KOs 162.5 lbs.) looking to land from the outside and Soliman (44-13, 18 KOs 161.5 lbs.) maneuvering to get in close. Little Creek Brawl 7

The Little Creek Casino in Shelton, Washington will once again host a Showtime televised ShoBox card Friday, June 26th. TGB Promotions has lined up a marathon show with three intriguing televised match-ups and over a dozen fights total featuring a talent-filled line-up.

The televised main event will feature an interesting ten round match-up between fast-rising, undefeated prospect Dominic Wade (17-0, 12 KOs) facing the toughest challenge of his career in former world title holder Sam Soliman (44-12, 18 KO’s). Wade, an aggressive fighter with power in both hands, has been on a six fight win streak, stopping four of his opponents, since taking a two year lay-off starting in 2011. Wade’s last fight was at the Little Creek Casino last December. IN that fight, Wade knocked out tough local fighter Eddie Hunter in the second round of an exciting fight. This fight is a major opportunity for Wade to step to the next level. A win over Soliman would place him as a viable contender for a world title. (continue reading…)
