Garcia improved to 18-0-2, 7 KO's. Lopez dropped to 22-17-1, 8 KO's. A scheduled six round heavyweight match had Shawn Jewell (199 lbs), 10-7-1, 7 KO's, of Bend, OR leading handily until he was floored at 1:34 of the fourth with an uppercut by Adam Flores (239 1/2 lbs) of Oxnard, CA. TKO win for Flores who improves to 6-2, 2 KO's. Sharp shooting Miguel Avila (149 1/2 lbs) of Los Angeles moved to 6-4-3,2 KO's with a stoppage over Chris Huntwork (148 lbs) of Portland, OR at 2:59 of the sixth in a six round match. Huntwork devolves to 4-9-1, 3 KO's. Jared Crum (240 lbs) of Pacific, WA debuted with a No Contest against also debuting Daniel McGarry (253 lbs) of Lincoln, CA. Both hevayweights toppled over the ring ropes ont the apron and the fight was stopped at 2:34 of round 2 when it appeared that Crum's arm had been injured in the fall. Jenna "Bambi" Bertoncello (129 lbs), 1-1, 1KO, of Issaquah, WA stopped debuting Amanda Fox (128 lbs) of Tacoma, WA at 1:50 of the first round in a scheduled four round women's match. A scheduled light heavyweight match between Kip Triplett of Eugene, OR and Nathaniel "Tex" Miles of Tacoma, WA was scratched when Miles flunked the prefight physical. |
