PRETTY BOY" FLOYD CLASSY ON RING TALK SUNDAY

Being just 21 years old, Floyd Mayweather showed during his Ring Talk appearance last night that he has tremendous respect for all fighters. "I respect any man who has the guts to box" after I kept trying to get him to say something negative about his December 19, foe Angel Manfredy. "He's a good fighter. I just feel I'm the best fighter at 130 lbs. and I'm looking to prove it with Manfredy."

"He calls himself El Diablo, the Devil right? Well, I'm going to be God that night." The remainder of this exclusive Ring Talk interview will be published in the coming days at fighters.com

PAGE ON "RING TALK" SATURDAY

James Page says he is the WBA welterweight champion. And seeing I've watched him fight for the better part of the last 15 years, I know what he can do, so I'm not going to argue with the 26 year old from Pittsburg, CA.

"Jose Luis Lopez is my mandatory. I think he's right there to hit. Ike Quartey was hurting him with his jab. He wanted to quit I think. After Lopez, bring on the winner of Oscar and Quartey. And I want to fight Felix Trinidad soon also."

TALKS ABOUT DISAPPOINTMENTS

One of the Ring Talk family members got right in Page's face and said. "Knocking out (Andrei) Pestraiev was good. But you ain't going to do that with Lopez. You lost to Robert West."

A SINCERE REPLY

"I've had some problems in and out of the ring. I lost to Zack Padilla, Stevie Johnston, and West. Zack surprised me as I had underestimated him. The fight with Stevie can be blamed on the weight. But against West, there are no excuses. I  didn't prepare myself physically or mentally. He just out worked me."

MEANWHILE PAGE VS. LOPEZ IS ON...

Hold as the sides representing Page (Don King) and Jose Luis Lopez (Dino Duva) agreed at the WBA Convention in Thailand to postpone that day's purse bid and instead enter a two week period of negotiation.

UNABLE TO GET KING, I DID MANAGE TO...

Catch Main Events promoter Dino Duva at home on Sunday afternoon. Of course, Duva is at the center of King vs. Trinidad litigation as the Puerto Rican inked a six fight deal with the Duva promotional group in July.

"The WBA has given us two weeks to work out a deal. I think we can."

IN 1991, IT WAS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY...

So, why isn't that the story now with Mike tyson? Certain beat writers want to keep Tyson banned from fighting again for his actions mainly outside the ring.

But in 1991, while facing trail on Rape charges, Tyson was allowed to train and go through with the Evander Holyfield fight until he got hurt and the fight was scrapped.

DIFFERENCE THIS TIME SHOULD BE PAROLE

But if Indiana doesn't give a spit, why should we? I only hope that Tyson can fight at least once before having his parole pass lifted as a conviction in the two Maryland Assault cases is still a real possibility.

MARYLAND OFFICIALS ACT "TOUGH" ON TYSON

The District Attorney in the case has stated he would go ahead and still prosecute Tyson even if the ex champ and his victims were to reach a settlement.

E MAIL ON TYSON'S MD REPORTS

The decision not to publish Mike Tyson's psychological tests at fighters.com has turned out to be a popular one with all of you. Thanks!
