Emerald Queen Casino
Tacoma, Washington

The following results were provided by matchmaker Bob Oleson, who says the casino's convention center was packed for this six bout regional club card.

In the scheduled ten round main event 31 year-old Kenny Ellis (163 3/4 lbs) of Seattle improved to 24-3-2, 15 KO's when he flattened 30 year old Tim Shocks (167 1/4 lbs) of Kent, WA with a solid right hand in the third round. A TKO win for Ellis. Shocks' record devolves to 21-10-1, 14 KO's.

Also on this card:
In a six round heavyweight match, veteran Shane Sutcliffe (229 lbs) of Vancouver, B.C went to 23-11-1, 12 KO's with a split decision over daring Cody Gray (222 1/4 lbs) now 5-1, 5 KO's, of Shoreline, WA.

A scheduled six round bout between Mark Woolnaugh (172 1/2 lbs) of Surrey, British Colombia and Nathaniel "Tex" Miles (167 3/4 lbs)) of Tacoma was scratched because Miles' blood pressure was red zone high before the fight.

In a women's four round bout, Laramie Hinostroza (126 1/4 lbs) of Portland via Kansas City pulled out a KO win with a big right hand in the fourth, decking Carla Wilcox ( 121 3/4 lbs) of Tacoma for the count after Wilcox appeared to be outpointing Hinostroza.
