Judge was a capable fighter who defeated such men as “Philadelphia” Tommy Ryan (twice), Sam Tonkins, Dick Case, Tom Williams, “Australian” Billy Edwards, Jim Austin, Kid Carter, Charley O’Rourke and “Mysterious” Billy Smith during his career; He also fought draws with “Philadelphia” Tommy Ryan, Mike Leonard, Frank Bartley, Young Smyrna and Tommy Cleary
