The fight is ruled a no contest after the bout is stopped with
Mazzinghi bleeding baldy after nine rounds with Little way ahead. The
refree claims that under "European Rules" that a fight stopped in the
first half of a bout is to be ruled a No-Contest. Thus saving
Mazzinghi his crown and thus making for one of the strangest decisions
ever in boxing history.
