Harry Krohn
(the "Akron Thunderbolt")

BORN   November 1897; Mantua, Ohio (Fought out of Akron, Ohio)
HEIGHT 5-8
WEIGHT 165-169 lbs
MANAGER Harold Walsh

Krohn was a scrappy competitor who met most of the top men of his time and "gave as well as he got"; His record is tarnished considerably by performances after his peak and against top title contenders

Harry defeated such men as  Mike McTigue, Charley Nashert, Johnny Celmars and bested a number of others in "No Decision" contests

Krohn was inducted into the Summit County (Akron, Ohio) Sports Hall of Fame in 1957
