Pro Boxing Returns to Manchester

Three ex-NE Golden Gloves champs on NH fight cardOct. 24 at Center of NH in Manchester

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Three former New England Golden Gloves champions -- undefeated middleweight prospect Jason “The Hammer” LeHoullier (8-0, 5 KOs), super welterweight Lester Bryant, Jr. (2-1, 1 KO), and featherweight Denise “Mighty” Moses (1-0, 1 KO) – are scheduled to fight October 24 on “Pro Boxing’s Back in Manchester,” a Candia Road Smoke-promoted fundraiser at the Center of New Hampshire in the Manchester Holiday Inn.

Proceeds from “Pro Boxing’s Back in Manchester” are targeted to go to the Manchester Memorial High School football team and Farmington Gridiron Club.

LeHoullier, 25, lives in Dover (NH) and fights out of Portland (ME). He was the 2001 New England Golden Gloves champion, as well as a winner at the 2001 USA Boxing/New England Tournament of Champions. He is scheduled to fight in the six-round main event against TBA.

Bryant, of Nashua (NH); and Lawrence’s (MA) Moses are slated to fight in separate four-round bouts.

The six-round co-feature matches a pair of professional kick-boxers, Gary “The Bone” Bonefant, of Manchester (NH), and New York City middleweight Peter Kelchivak. Bonefant, who works in the N.H. coroner’s office, is the reigning USKBA Intercontinental Super Welterweight kickboxing champion. He is making his pro boxing debut.

Another converted kick-boxer, Hudson (NH) heavyweight Scott “The Skull Crusher” Jones, owner of Tattoo America in Seabrook and Nashua, faces Jose Colon (1-1), of Lawrence (MA), in a four-round match. Also on the undercard is welterweight Alex Infante (3-1), of Haverhill (MA), versus TBA. All bouts and fighters are subject to change.

Tickets are priced at $100.00 for VIP (includes dinner and ringside seat), $50.00 ringside, $35.00 reserved, and $25.00 general admission. Tickets are available at Candia Road Smoke, Uptown Tavern and Black Brimer.

Doors for the VIP dinner open at 5 p.m. for a cocktail hour followed by dinner between 6-7. The general public will be allowed to enter at 7 p.m. with the first bout slated for 8 p.m. For additional information call 603.669.6565.
