Dominic Pesoli and 8 Count Productions is proud to present the "Super Brawl Showdown" on Friday, January 30th, 2004 at the DePaul Athletic Center. Headlining the card are two of Chicago biggest stars, junior welterweights David Diaz, 22-0 (12) and Rocky "The Mexican Kid" Martinez, 39-9-1 (20) who will be appearing in separate eight round bouts. Tickets starting at $25 can be purchased by calling the 8 Count Productions offices at 312-226-5800.
Also appearing on the "wall to wall" action packed card is the return of Chicago's heaviest hitter, welterweight Luciano "Manos de Piedra" Perez, 4-0 (4) and hot prospect junior middleweight, "Macho" Miguel Hernandez, 5-1 (4) in separate six round bouts.
Making his pro debut is long time amateur tough guy, heavyweight Patrick Thelan in a four roundbout. Battling Matt McCarty will look to turn things around as he comes back from a tough decisionloss earlier this year in his pro debut. He will also appear in a scheduled four rounder.
