Cesar Bazan New Headliner on February 27th DePaul Show
Gonzales Turns Up Preparation for Feliciano

Former Lightweight World Champion Cesar Bazan is the new headliner at the DePaul Athletic Centeron February 27th as Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions, Chicago's premier boxing promoter, in association with Bob Arum's Top Rank Incorporated presents "Night of the Gladiators," nationally broadcast on Telefutura's weekly boxing series Solo Boxeo. Fight fans are encouraged to order tickets in advance by calling 312-226-5800.

Mexico City native Bazan will be featured in the main event in a ten round junior welterweight bout. More information on this bout will be available shortly.

The co-main event on this card is a terrific junior welterweight bout between highly regarded prospects;undefeated Chicagoan Al "Speedy" Gonzales and Las Vegas native Jessie Feliciano. Gonzales has been prepping for his toughest fight by sparring with Chicago's finest boxers including Courtney Burton, Luciano Perez, Gabriel Rodriguez and Germaine Sanders. Puerto Rican badass Feliciano has predicted a knockout win and clearly believes he will once again be victorious in Chicago having beaten Jermaine Marks in October.

Also on the card is a very anticipated six round matchup between local undefeated welterweight prospects as Chicagoan KO artist Luciano "El Gallo Bravo" takes on Juan "The Mexican Connection" Aguilar of Whiting, IN.

Other local favorites on the card include junior middleweights "Macho" Miguel Hernandez and the "Classy" Freddie Cuevas. Making his pro debut is former amateur standout welterweight Trinidad Garcia. More information on these bouts will be available shortly.

The DePaul Athletic Center is located at 2323 N. Sheffield in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago. Doors open at 6pm, the first bell is at 7pm.

The weigh-in for this card which will be open to the public will be held on Thursday February 26th at Luna Mexicana 3565 W Fullerton in Chicago at 6pm.
