"Speedy" Gonzalez to make quick return

Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions is proud to announce its next "wall to wall" action packed card on Friday, April 16th at the DePaul Athletic Center. Headlining the card is the return of local favorite, junior welterweight prospect Al "Speedy" Gonzales, 13-0-1 (7). Gonzales comes off a terrific performance in his last bout, which took place two weeks ago, an internationally televised war with Jessie Felicano. Despite the bout being called a draw, Gonzales' rise in the world rankings continues and he is looking to stay in the mix with a terrific performance on April 16th.
Also appearing on the card is junior middleweight "Macho" Miguel Hernandez, 8-1 (6). Hernandez comes off a terrific performance which saw him take a decision over the slick veteran Manji Conteh last month. The card also features hard swinging welterweight Luciano "El Gallo Bravo" Perez, 5-0 (4) in a six round bout. Perez comes off a gutsy decision win over previously undefeated Juan Aguilar which had the huge DePaul crowd on its feet for the four round duration.
Tickets, starting at $25, can be purchased in advance by calling 312-226-5800. With the last card having a sold out audience of over 3,500 fight fans, 8 Count Productions encourages their loyal fan base to purchase tickets early to ensure entry on fight night. The DePaul Athletic Center is located at 2323 N. Sheffield Ave. in the Lincoln Park section of the Windy City. Doors open at 7pm, first bell is at 8pm.
