Gibbs Set to take on Barthelemy April 23rd in Brockton
Fight will be Co-Feature Bout on ESPN2 Friday Night Fight's

Brockton,MA- The "City of Champions" will play host to it's first ever ESPN2 Friday Night Fight card on April 23rd. Headlining the Cappiello Promotions card will be a teriffic rematch between Dorian Beapierre 11-1-1 (5) and Daniel Edouard 15-0-1 (8). The two fighters battled to a draw on March 18th on Showbox.

In the co-feature will be Willie "The Gladiator" Gibbs 16-0 (13) against Cuban middleweight Giorbis Barthelemy 23-6-1 (9). Gibbs, of Philadelphia last fought on February 23rd when he stopped Glen Rayburn. Gibbs, who is the cousin of current undisputed middleweight champ Bernard Hopkins, says he is ready. "I go into every fight with the idea that I can't be beat," said Gibbs. I have extreme confidence in my abilities and I believe I am ready to take the next step toward my goal of becoming world champ." In Barthelemy, Gibbs will face an experienced southpaw who has been in with some tough competiton. At 31 years old Barthelemy knows he has a good opportunity on national tv to keep his career going in the right direction.
